Our trusted Appledore Turkeys come from a family run business dating back to the 1940s reared on the Wreathall family farm. Their turkeys are fed a simple diet of wheat and vegetable proteins – free of additives, drugs or growth hormones. They roam grassy paddocks during the day and are bedded down overnight on the farm’s home-grown wheat straw.
Appledore Turkeys are part of the Members of the Traditional Farm Fresh Turkey Association which sets the standard for top quality in Christmas Turkeys. They’ve just won two more Great Taste Awards for 2020 which is 8 years in a row – confirming that they consistently produce the best tasting turkeys available!
