Parkfoot is proud to have installed a defibrillator in our convenience store. These machines, which are used to revive people experiencing a sudden heart problem, are at their most useful when installed in busy locations with high levels of traffic. Our 24 hour service station is certainly one of these!
Recently over half our staff were trained in first aid and use of a defibrillator, which can also be used by any member of the public in need. It was a unanimous decision at the end of the training to purchase a defibrillator as a resource not only for our staff and customers but for everybody in the locality and anyone passing through who may be in need of emergency assistance.
Please spread the message far and wide so that people know this vital piece of equipment is available in our store.
